Can I sleep In Acuvue Oasys 1 Day with Hydraluxe Technology

Unfortunately not, Acuvue Oasys 1 Day with Hydraluxe Technology have been designed to be worn for one day and then disposed of, this allows your eyes the full healthy benefits of daily disposable contact lenses. They have not been designed for overnight wear, but as they are a silicone hydrogel contact lens you should be OK to have a nap. We always recommend you speak to your Optometrist about sleeping in your contact lenses before doing so.

What is The Difference between Acuvue Oasys 1 Day with Hydraluxe or 1 Day Acuvue Moist

The main difference is that Acuvue Oasys 1 Day with Hydraluxe is a silicone hydrogel contact lens and 1 Day Acuvue Moist is a regular hydrogel lens.
Acuvue Oasys 1 Day with Hydraluxe uses Hydraluxe technology which is inspired by ideal tear-film optics (1) to deliver superior vision and improved contrast sensitivity, helping to make subtle details more bright and crisp (2) whereas 1 Day Acuvue Moist uses Etafilcon A and adds the moisture-rich ingredient Lacreon which creates a long-lasting smooth cushion throughout the lens, keeping moisture in and dryness at bay, making them a great choice for dry eyes.
Both are daily disposable contact lenses manufactured by Johnson and Johnson, both come in fittings of 8.5 and 9.0 with a wide range of powers and high levels of UVA and UVB protection, they both have a handling tint and the 1 2 3 inside out indicator, so they have many similarities and both are a great choice.

Johnson and Johnson discontinued the supply of 1 Day Acuvue Trueye in June 2022 and it has been superseded by Acuvue Oasys 1 Day with Hydraglyde Technology.
If you wore 1 Day Acuvue Trueye you should find transitioning to Acuvue Oasys 1 Day with Hydraglyde Technology easy, they are both silicone hydrogel contact lenses, come in the same fitting, same power range and even include the handling tint and 1 2 3 inside out indicator.
