Is Ultra One Day A Silicone Hydrogel Contact Lens

Yes, Bausch + Limbs Ultra One Day is an exceptionally comfortable silicone hydrogel daily disposable contact lens. Containing Bausch + Lombs Advanced MoistureSeal Technology and ComfortFeel Technology,  providing outstanding comfort for a full 16 hours of wear time daily, whilst promoting a stable and healthy ocular surface environment. 

Can I Wear Ultra One Day Overnight

Unfortunately not.
Although Ultra One Day is a silicone hydrogel contact lens it has been designed for daily wear only and is not approved for overnight wear. Ultra One Day contact lenses need to be removed, cleaned, and stored overnight, if you are looking for a contact lens to wear overnight, check out our extended wear range of contact lenses and speak to your Optometrist to check if you are suitable for extended wear lenses.

What Are The Benefits Of Silicone Hydrogel Contact Lenses?

The biggest benefit of silicone hydrogel contact lenses is their increased ability to allow oxygen to flow through to the eye, this helps to keep the eyes, healthier, prevent drying out, and increase comfort levels.

Because silicone hydrogel contact lenses allow so much more oxygen to reach the cornea than regular hydrogel lenses, the ability to take a nap in contact lenses and even wear them overnight has become so much safer. If you are interested in wearing contact lenses overnight we recommend discussing extended wear contact lenses with your Optometrist. 

The addition of silicone hydrogel in contact lenses has allowed people who previously found wearing contact lenses uncomfortable due to long wearing hours, excessive screen time, or working and living in air conditioned buildings to begin wearing them again.
