Wouldn't recommend

"I was using Crystal Aqua Daily for a couple of months. Although, I had to stop using these because they were drying out my eyes and causing redness. When I tried to return my 10 unopened boxes of lenses, I was given a return label, which I fixed to my parcel and posted. Since posting on the 2nd of June, my parcel has apparently been ""lost"", and the contactlenses.co.uk team cannot find it. I have contacted them multiple times, and they will not help me and provide a refund. I've never had a parcel go missing from Royal Mail, and believe it's due to incompetence or pure greed from contactlenses.co.uk. It's easy to order from the company, but don't expect a refund. Your parcel will just go ""missing""."

I have recently bought two boxes of…

I have recently bought two boxes of crystal comfort. Since beginning of march I have actually open the third pair. The previous two pairs had last me 10 days each. They break easily after last than two weeks. The material is very poor quality. I have been wearing contact lenses for 30 years and this is the second kind of Crystal's lenses that appear to have a very limited endurance time period. While calling and asking either for refund or replacement I am met with comments that I am the only one to have such problems with the lenses.What are your experiences with the lenses.

Use of 3rd Party Market Researchers

Any company using parasitic organisations such as Trust Pilot should be avoided. If you want a true review use your own (cheaper) personnel, who understand the subject. Also I was ALMOST tricked into joining another 3rd Party, i.e. PayPal, yet another proven risk. I had to make several attempts to proceed with my order when I refused to sign up for PayPal. I have since found another contact lens supplier and will not be using contactlenses.co.uk again.

Not happy with my lenses

Not happy with my lenses . I ordered Crystal Air Daily which more expensive and supposedly more comfortable to wear but they are not comfortable at all and I have to change my lenses couple of times a day so I can survive the discomfort and dryness. My eyes get very red and dry even with constant eye drops and I don’t wear them for extremely long hours just normal 9 to 5 job.

Don’t buy

I bought these as the ones I normally buy have started making my eyes slightly dry but these are awful. I have worn 4 sets so far and 2 out of 4 have ripped whilst in my eye, this is the first time ever in 20 odd years of wearing contact lenses has this happened. Don’t waste your money

I didn’t receive the correct prescription I ordered -1.75 but I got +1.75 instead. But normally I am very happy with contact lenses uk. Always quick with delivery and not to expensive.

Packages too big

These are REALLY bad

These are REALLY bad! I have wasted more than half of these, because they are such poor quality. Sometimes you put it in your eye, blink, and it immediately moves up and wedges itself under your eyelids. I have been really scared it would lodge itself behind my eyeballs. The other half of the time, you put it on and it begins scratching you intensely immediately. Or it bends as soon as you take it out the pack, and doesn't stay on your eyes. I only bought from them, because my regular supplier closed their factory. Thank God I can buy from my regular supplier again. This was a complete waste of money. Edit: They also said someone from customer service will get in touch with me, but I heard nothing back from them. I do not believe this to be a good company at all from my experience.

Not yet received- 17 days later

I ordered contact lenses on 22/5/20 and on 8/6/20 I still have it received them. They usually come the next day but there is not suggestion that they’ve even been dispatched. I need my contacts to work and drive, and as a doctor my glasses now steam up when wearing a mask or a visor. I’d either like my contact lenses or my money back please.

So far I have wasted five contact…

So far I have wasted five contact lenses. Four of them ripped and one was useless in one eye so I had to take it out and revert to my glasses whilst I was out of the house I have been wearing lenses for 40 years and I am used to handling delicate lenses. I wonder if htis is a faulty batch?

Absolutely terrible service

Absolutely terrible service. Took over a week.i spoke to someone they blamed Royal mail, but I had other royal mail delivery during the time I was waiting, no delays in them It wasn't a little longer it was over a week royal mail managed to deliver 2nd class in a couple of days? May be worth using second class instead of first class

Most of the contact had splits in them been using contact for nearly 4 years and have never had this problem with other companies so won’t be using this company again and I’m never one to leave a bad review but this is one that was really bad but there delivery was quick which was the only plus side

Never arrived at the address. Overpriced Sunglasses

Never arrived at the address. I couldn't chase up until a few months later a was out of the country. There was no response from the online support form I sent. Then I wasn't able to get a refund or credit note on my full order. I ended up with overpriced sunglasses which I thought would be prescription but are not. I lost a lot of money.

Not as good as Daysoft

I usually buy the Daysoft lenses which are slightly cheaper but their site is closed due to the corona virus. Decided to give these a try. Bought extra to get free delivery but I am disappointed with the lenses. The packaging is better than the Daysoft and is more like expensive lenses but these lenses are not comfortable. I don’t understand why but my right eye lense was hard to get in and I could feel it when I blinked. I have worn lenses for over 25 years and tried many different ones and find the dailies more comfortable but these dried out really quickly and by mid afternoon became very dry and uncomfortable. I am really disappointed with them. Sadly I won’t be buying them again. I have been in touch with the company regarding my purchase but they have not yet replied.

Not happy

EVERY box hurt my eyes

Recorded delivery utterly annoying

I still haven't been able to get my contact lenses because they needed to be signed for! There was no warning of this otherwise I would have tried to have had them delivered another day or ordered less. I am also very concerned that at the Mail depo, miles away in the middle of nowhere, they may be storing my lenses at the wrong temperature.

I used to order from them... never again!

I used to order regularly from them, until I found another site. I most recently decided to order from them again. Unfortunately it was an awful experience and I won't be recommending them to any of my friends and family again. I accidentally ordered my contacts to my old address which I understand they cannot recall as it had been despatched, but I went to extra lengths to go back to my old address find the parcel, spoke to the concierge and old colleagues to find it, to no avail. There is absolutely no sign of the parcel. I've contacted them twice about a possible refund or sending me a replacement in goodwill, but I've been met with terrible customer service with no empathy whatsoever. I'm disappointed with contactlenses.co.uk and have lost all my confidence in them. It's a shame that I've had to resort to leaving this review to prevent others from meeting the same issues I encountered.

Monthly lenses are so fragile they don't last a week.

This company used to provide great quality contact lenses at unbeatable prices. That's why I bought contact lenses from them for almost ten years. The price has gone up over time and the quality of lenses recently have gotten beyond a joke. Monthly lenses are so fragile that you'll be lucky to get them to last a week. It was confirmed by the company that they have recently changed the type of lens that they had been supplying, without changing the name. Bait and switching a product that I had come to rely on for years with a cheap, inferior alternative. These guys used to provide the best value for money in contact lenses. Now they've been surpassed by online competitors.

Up until now I have been a happy customer.. But the grief I have had because they decided to send my lenses in a non letterbox friendly package... WHY!!.. 5 days and 3 attempts to collect from our useless royal mail depot have left me deciding its easier to pay a bit extra and use my opticians. Really, really pi.... ed off!!

Material of contact lenses received…

Material of contact lenses received were not as per description on the website. When query raised with customer services they said that this is a new material and that the website had not been updated. The website still remains outdated and is in my view misleading. I did not have time available to return the lenses and get an alternative as I required them for an upcoming holiday. Items should be as described, especially when they are being put in your eyes!!

I couldn't cancel my order

I couldn't cancel my order that i sent to wrong address. i realized right away but it was too late. I called but they said they can't cancel once you make an order.

"the order was marked""despatched"" FAST, so at first I was happy,raly happy. Except there's one little problem: here we are nearly two weeks later and contactlenses.co.uk still hasn't bothered to really ship my order. That's right, they printed a shipping label, but they never bothered to actually drop the package off with the shipper! If the ""sender is still preparing the item"" don't tell me it has been despatched, because it hasn't. It would be nice if someone from this outfit would email me back and let me know what's going on and when I can expect my item to really be shipped and not just marked shipped on their website."

Not really happy with my purchase.

Not really happy with my purchase. I ordered the green-colored contact lenses last week, I tried one and I could not tell that I am wearing green contact lenses. Not even close to the pic on the website. I feel quite disappointed.

We received the lenses very quickly BUT…

We received the lenses very quickly BUT unfortunately my daughter can’t see a thing through them almost as if there is no vision strength in them one is 3.50 and the other 3.75? Tried contacting customer service and have had no reply ? Ordered 6 months worth. ???????

Very poor quality

Started off buying daily disposables. Every pack had one or two ripped lenses, or lenses that ripped while in my eye. Switched to monthlies- one of first pair ripped on 5th use. 20+years contact lense user never had this issue with other suppliers. Awaiting reply to email.

I had to choose one working day…

I had to choose one working day delivery . I’m full understand I make a purchase on Thursday and the parcel cannot be delivered by Friday . But you’re the DPD service which we are using is not good anyway . DPD is just giving the time,example between 12 and 3 o’clock . Nobody is home between 12 and 3 o’clock during the working days . Unless you expect to be on benefits.
