I asked for my contacts to be delivered asap as my dog had eaten one, and they arrived the next day. Wonderful service and friendly, helpful, understanding people. I can't thank them enough - absolutely Ace on service, quality and understanding !

Bitterly disappointed with the service …

Bitterly disappointed with the service i have recently received with my last 2 orders I have been a loyal customer for a number of years but recently i have found the service to be unacceptable. I have been having to chase deliveries and my last order never arrived and i had to call to get more lenses dispatched. I do expect a call or some type of customer care response.

Not convenient service. still waiting for lenses 2 weeks later

I ordered on November 27th. Its December 8th and no package. I email to check and they said a delivery attempt was made but as I was not in, they kept package in a depot and for me to call to redeliver. This is incredibly impractical for anyone working full time. First of all, please issue lenses in a box that can be put through the letter box and does not require signature. The whole purpose of lenses services is to be convenient. Secondly, advise me if you have not delivered so I do not have to chase when I am down to one lens. Thirdly, do not make me call a depot to rearrange. I don't have the time. Still sorting out the issue but will not order again as not convenient service. Other services make sure I get lenses next day through letter box. FURTHER TO YOUR REPLY I received no notification. You should pack the contact lenses in a flat pack like other services so they can be posted through the letterbox. I don't have time to arrange redelivery when I am not going to be in in any case. Please issue a full refund. I will use another service.

They should have left a something for you card and I apologise if this was not the case. As you ordered 6 boxes of contact lenses they would not be able to fit through a letterbox. Your order can be collected from your local royal mail collection point or arranged to be redelivered. Every time I order my contact lenses …

Every time I order my contact lenses they show it as have in store but when I purchase I get put on waiting list and saying they are not available .... not happy paying for delivery following day that takes 2 weeks

First and last order

First order, arrived on time and all good. I ordered a pair of coloured prescription. The first day I wore them, they were extremely uncomfortable and irritated my eyes. Although this was not the first time I ordered these lenses, I had them before from a different website. Anyways, by the afternoon, one of my eyes was very red and swollen. I took the lens off, only to find that it was ribbed! I threw out both lenses off, since they are prescription and put on my my glasses. I emailed customer services to raise the issue and was asked to provide proof of the lenses. of course, I couldn't go through bin looking for a pair of lenses. I was then promised a refund for one lens only, which I find ridiculous. To make it worse, its been 3 weeks now and no refund was received. First and last time I ever use them again.

Disappointed

Very disappointed for the first time my regular lenses weren't available( had to order different type) you're charging for delivery and after paying for delivery I received my lenses 2 DAYS after the dispatched date ! I have always received them the next day after dispatched date - I have been your customer for a very long time but these changes that have been made makes me want to change the supplier - will be looking elsewhere

We recently took the difficult situation in charging a delivery charge of £3 for any orders below the value of £30, which you will find many of our competitors have been doing for some time but at a higher charge and threshold. This was introduce due to the continuing price rises to us which we unfortunately had to pass onto our customers. To confirm, we still offer free first class delivery on orders of £30 or over. First class is approximately 90% chance of next day delivery however this is not guaranteed and we quote 1-3 days. Postage Rip off

Very poor quality service

I had a problem that I think wasn't addressed by the customer service dept. They didn't answer my issues just replied in cut and paste replies and offered a refund. They seemed to me to be more interested in online reputation than customer issues. The customer service assistance at contactlenses.co.uk turned me from disappointed customer to never again customer.

Contacts sent to me were not comfortable and when i told them about it they wanted me to send back the contacts in a tissue so they can send me a new pair. Very bad customer service. They wanted me to Pay more for delivery to send it back to them just so I could get a new pair. Was not happy.

disappointed loyal customer gets bad service

Been buying lenses off this company for years and since the company was bought out a few years ago the delivery and service has gotten worse (as well as price increasing). Took 3 weeks for lenses to get to me, apparently due to supplier, however it caused great inconvenience to me and meant I had no lenses for 10 days. This also meant due to needing the lenses for my job, I couldn't work. No apology, no refund, no discount off next purchase. I won't be using this company again.

AVOID! Took money and ran

Ordered lenses. Nothing turned up for a few days to a week. Emailed them, no reply. Had to open a dispute via PayPal. Still no reply to me emails and no help what so ever. Avoid these cowboys and use a reputable supplier

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Sent my contact lenses to the wrong address I showed the paypal address and was told they had 'automatically' pullled an address from when I ordered with them almost ten years ago across and sent to that instead (even though I put my address in correctly the system somehow switched it around when I 'logged in through facebook) I spoke to customer services (super unhelpful) No refund and no new contacts dispatched to correct address BEWARE use visiondirect, £5 more but much less agg!

Order sent to the wrong address

Just moved house so I checked multiple times to make sure the address was correct. Still sent to the wrong address. Emailed to complain - I was asked to confirm the wrong address, I said it was wrong and gave the right one (a week ago) and haven't heard back since. I've chased once and still no reply

Fraud

Took multiple duplicate payments (unauthorised) and deliberately delayed refund - nothing but lies and poor excuses. Refused to disclose head office contact details. Gave one star as zero stars was unfortunately not an option.

Extremely bad - I'm still waiting to receive my order

This is unacceptable!! I have placed my order on the 7th May, today is the 16th and I'm still waiting. Can you please contact me as matter of urgency and provide an update? Very bad timing - your service level went down while your prices go up.

Nothe happy

I ordered grey lenses for £8... considering the price I assumed it would be for both eyes and only received one. Don't understand why lenses are priced individually as it's very rare that a person would only use one in their eyes. Absolutely ridiculous! !

Hello Ruby, Thank you for your feedback. To offer our customers flexibility in what they can order, we offer many of our popular coloured lenses in singles. This is so, a customer with a different prescriptions requirement in both right and left eyes, would not have to order a box of 2 or 3 lenses (if sold as a box of 2 or 3) for each eye and can instead buy 1 for each eye. Therefore reducing the cost to pay initially and allowing customers to be flexible with colours they wish to try. Will never use again

Order didn't arrive, when I rang customer services they've tried to get me to pay for postage and blaming me for not contacting them sooner. Very rude, unhelpful and very quick to cancel my order. Will not use again and will not recommend.

Given the run-around and no contact lenses

I have had to waste several hours today chasing a payment that has gone through on my credit card via paypal and (according to paypal) sent to contactlenthought .co.uk. Both companies blame each other and I lose out. I have a paypal receipt. My credit card works. I used paypal several time this week so my account works. No clear answer as to what is going on and how I get my money back OR quickly get my lenses. Inefficient and time-wasting, plus the cost of 4 phonecalls from Australia to the UK. Have been a customer for about 5 years. Ready to leave. Angry and dissatisfied.

Hello Kaz, Thank you for getting in touch. I can see we have been liaising with you today regarding this issue and have tried to provide you with as much information as possible. Although your payment has left your account, PayPal unfortunately have not yet released the funds to us and therefore we are unable to process and despatch your lens order. We have suggested that we can either return / cancel this payment with PayPal and process a new payment over the phone, alternatively wait and see if PayPal release the funds and check again on Monday. What we have done however is continue to order your lenses that are not instock so that there is no further delay once the funds have reached us. I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused,however feel PayPal would be best to advise you on the reasons they are reviewing the payment. We will continue to get in touch with you on Monday with an update on your payment status. Complaint

I still haven't received my order and have had no confirmation of what's happening I had to ring on Thursday and told to ring back after 5 days. I have paid for these items and should not have to chase them up

Unacceptable - over a week and still no lense!

I am very disappointed with the experience i am having. I ordered the lense a week ago and still have not had any through the post! When it clearly says on the website it should not take this long!! I would appreciate an apology and my contacts. I feel like this will be the last time i'd be using this site considering i haven't recieved any updates!

Bad management

I didn't received the order after paid for two weeks. As I clicked the reorder button on their web site and all the info were filled in automatically, also I did received last order so I didn't double check the address. Also later I received email confirmation from them which showed the correct shipping address that is my current address. Though after called them and it was turned out that the product was sent to my previous address when I was registered. I complained but nobody go back to me after three days.

Bad service/customer service

I order my contact lenses from 4th of february and i still didint receive i called and they said they dont know where is it how its possible? which kind service its that? and to receive my refund i need to wait 2 weeks? What????? Never again!!!!!

Worst services - inefficiency at its best !!

Least of general sense applied when dealing with complaints. Maybe the inefficient team need to work on understanding the commitments made on the sites.

Very dissatisfied.

Waited two weeks for lenses to arrive.When I called they said they were despatched and probably lost in the post. They said the lenses would be sent again recorded delivery.Still never arrived, when I called again and spoke to another person they said lenses had been out of stock. I feel they were out of stock all the while and that they had been dishonest.

Wrong delivery

I was so disappointed to see my delivery because I ordered lenses in hazal colour and I received in transparent colour that I don't want . I strongly remembered that I placed the order that I don't receive . Over all I'm not happy to have this services I email back to you and someone from your side said that they can't help me on this regard.

OUCH!

I have been ordering contacts through contactlenses.co.uk for years and have been a happy customer, but in this last batch I have had three contact lenses splitting in two pieces in my eye - really painful!!
