I did not receive my order despite calling to say that you sent it to the wrong address the first time and when you re-dispatched you made the same mistake. I had to travel without my lenses.

contact lenses Natural color

my last 4 orders has been a disappointment. i have been using Natural color lenses for more than 10 years. but my on my last orders the lenses quality seems to drop drastically. they hurt my eyes even when just removed from the package or even em i wear them for 5min.

Poor packaging

The box was damaged and not properly sealed, contact lens boxes were leaking. Disappointed with the service.

wrong lens

disappointing customer service for a long term customer

I have been using this website for a few years now and have never had a problem before. However on my last order I had a problem with the first lens I used. I received the package at work and was excited to use them as my glasses are uncomfortable. As soon as I inserted the lens I was in pain and discomfort immediately and after 5 mins I had no choice but to remove both lenses. As I had just received them that morning at work I did not have my lens case which led to having to throw the faulty lens in the bin. I spoke to a customer service advisor who said she coule send me another pair out. However once I received the lens I realised it was only for the left eye....upon calling them back they advised they could not send me one for the right eye back. I dont know how one single lens is supposed to benefit me in any way as I threw both away. Needless to say I will no longer be using this website as the customer service on this occasion was terrible.

On this occasion disappointed.

I have used Contactlenses.co.uk in the past and been happy - On this occasion I am disappointed. I ordered last Friday and expected delivery for early this week. As yet I have still not had receipt! I had to purchase lenses from the highstreet as I needed them for an occasion. I no longer need the lenses that I purchased and I am still waiting for, yet the company will not give me my money back.

Miscommunicating or bad grasp of english

I have been using contactlenses.co.uk very successfully & happily for some time. The nature of my work has changed & I know work all over the South west of Uk. My last order of 2 boxes, were sent to the wrong address. After I ordered it, I would have assumed, they would let me confirm the delivery address, as most companies do. I immediately send a letter, to notify the company & asked not to despatch order, before getting in touch with me (it was a w/end). On Monday, by the time I received e-mail, I was send the wrong delivery address & was told that the dispatch would still happen the same day, without waiting for a response. I contacted them immediately, and was told by a lady, this is not their responsibility & IF those people returned the lenses, they would let me know, else not their problem. The way the situation was dealt with, was not very professional or friendly. I unfortunately do not have the telephone no and know the kind of people. I found the specific lady, incredibly unhelpful & matter of fact. I know have lost the lenses & the money....but your company have also lost a client and word does spread. I do not hold the company responsible, but the staff definitely... I thank you for brilliant service before.

A very upset and angry customer

"I have been a customer with contactlenses.co.uk since 2010 however am not happy with the service I have recently recieved. I had selected to order grey contact lenses and added them to the basket. Upon prompting I logged onto my account, checked my previous orders as I had paid less last time so wanted to check the price and then went onto the basket to process my order. Upon arrival i recieved 'green` rather than the grey, however needed to wear the lenses later that night for a wedding. I called customer service and was told for the grey contacts to arrive it will take longer due to the christmas period and was additionally told it was not their fault and a refund cannot be made if the contacts were opened. The I.T team concluded that I had ""purposely"" chosen the green however if this was the case I would not be complaining. The customer service then told me that the website is easy to use and nothing can be done. I am not happy as unfortunately, I had only put the grey into my basket and do not accept I have intentioanally or ""purposely"" ordered the wrong colour. I now feel refrained from ordering from here again especially as I am being told the website is infact ""quite straight forward"" and that it was ""purposely"" chosen."

When paying you would have seen that the order was for the green colour and again in your confirmation email, which we always recommend checking. We can appreciate that the green lenses were ordered by mistake, and we would have been happy to exchange them for free, for the grey lenses. However as you needed the lenses that night for a wedding you used the lenses and so we are unable to replace them as they have been worn. Poor communication

Poor customer service, dispite sending two emails I did not receive any response, uncontactable via phone. Order placed but delivery confirmation received four days later, then long delivey time. Will take my business elsewhere.

Late delivery - poor

Unacceptable, poor service. Would NOT recommend to anyone!

I am furious ... I ordered my lenses as usual in time for my holiday ... THREE weeks later they eventually arrive AFTER the holiday .... & if that is not bad enough ... They were completely the WRONG prescription!!! So I am left with No lenses and almost £65 out of pocket! Absolutely disgusted, and when I did email I got a snotty email back from some kid! Would NEVER use or recommend this Company again!! Very Unsatisfied Customer!

Lenses were posted to wrong address, the company refused to refund & I had to make a complaint via PayPal to get issue resolved. Despite Sophie's quick response (below), 5 days have passed & I am still waiting, I am still waiting for customer services to get in touch.

Bad quality website

Ordered twice as website informed me my payment hadn't gone through. Awful overpriced website

Sent to wrong address

I changed my old address online to my new address but for some reason my contacts were still sent to my old address. When I phoned customer services, I was advised that there was nothing they could do and that it must've been an error on my behalf - but would submit the issue to the programming team. This issue was not resolved and the process has been pretty bad.

did not received my lenses and was told to wait for 21 days before a refund!

I am not happy with the service provided. I did not receive my item and when I asked for a refund I was told to wait 21 days due to their policy! Which is not fair on me as I had to go elsewhere to purchase more lenses for my special function but contact lenses had no consideration

Your order was placed on the 30th July and despatched the same day. The majority of orders arrive within 1-2 working days, however very rarely can take up to 7 days. You contacted us on the 1st August to say that you had not received your order. Unfortunately we were not able to re-send the order then as only 2 days had passed since we sent out the order. You then requested a refund. Our policy is that we can only refund for a missing order after 21 days as we need to allow time for delivery and to claim with Royal Mail. We were not made aware of the special function until the 4th August, where you informed us that your order still had not arrived and that you did not want a replacement sent out but required a refund as you had purchased the lenses elsewhere. We would again like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you and that we were unable to supply you with your lenses. Your refund will be processed in due course. Rubbish Service

Have used them for years and never had a problem until my latest order Sent to wrong delivery address, then the lenses split on my eyeball within ten minutes of wearing them. Very unimpressed!!

Declined to refund/exchange my lenses

I called to their customer service number and they declined to refund or exchange my contact lenses. Now I have changed company to buy my contact lenses.

The lenses you ordered were Toric lenses which are a more complex lens and have to be especially ordered in from the manufacturer.
