Flimsy

Delivery took a few days longer than my usual provider. The lenses are quite flimsy and hard to get into the eyes.

Lens with no solution

I ordered a daily set of 30 lenses for each eye which come with each lens individually packed. One of these packs has no solution in it at all, meaning that the lens was completely dried up and had to be thrown away.

Poor quality lenses

Service was quick and easy but quality of the lenses are poor. I’ve worn them on three occasions since they arrived and on two of those occasions I had a contact tear in half in my eye straight after putting them in and it has been a struggle to remove the second half.

For reasons unknown Royal Mail left a…

For reasons unknown Royal Mail left a missed delivery card, despite your package being able to fit through my letter box. This resulted in having it delivered to my local post office, which also meant having to find ID in order to collect. This whole process cost me 3 days Scs so I ran out of lenses. The lenses I received were in a box, not an envelope, as other recent orders have. It was unnecessarily annoying!

I apologise that in this instance your lenses were not placed in an envelope, however, the small boxes we use have been designed to be letterbox friendly, so are normally posted through the letter box by your postman. Colour changing lenses 🙄

The colour changing lenses were subtle at best. Waste of money. Delivery, service etc great but the product let the score down.

Next day delivery took 3 days don’t advertise it if you can’t do it, this has happened 4 times now. Even when ordering before the cut off point.

Where is my loyalty discount?

I have been buying lenses off you for the best part of 20 years and in that time you have never ever offered any type of loyalty scheme or discount or anything which shows your appreciation as a long standing customer. Isn't it about time you showed some thanks?

Very disappointed with the new…

"They have ZERO benefits for loyal customers. The prices have more than doubled from what they used to be when I started buying lenses from them and over so many years I have never been offered any loyalty discounts or anything. Really disappointing. Will be taking my business to more affordable places. In response to their response: ""Refer a friend"" isn't a loyalty scheme,since that would rely on my friends having to have bad eyesight,which they do not. Also in 2018 I paid £20 for the same amount of lenses, and now it has increased to £35, which is definitely more than the suggested £1 increase, so please do not try with the false information. I am not ""confused"" as you'd like to claim, since I know what I buy and what I pay."

Over the years we have sent many discount offers and we also offer a 'refer a friend' commission based scheme. In regards to our prices, it is inevitable that over time our prices will changes and sometimes this will mean a price increase. However looking at the particular lens you order from us, the price has remained the same for almost the last 3 years and are approximately £1.00 more then 8 yeas ago when you last ordered. We now sell them in sealed boxes of 2 which may be why you feel they are more expensive then before. I hope this has cleared up our pricing and please look out for our fab discount offers. Used as had 20% off voucher.

Used as had 20% off voucher, however also ended up ordering from my usual supplier as delivery was so slow- 10 days! No update on delivery via email, had to go on website which wasn’t very helpful. Meanwhile FeelGoodContacts delivered in 24 hrs, as usual, even though it was just on Christmas. Wouldn’t use again.

Uncomfortable lenses

Delivery was quick, but the quality of these lenses seems inferior to my usual ones. I've been trying these out for a couple of months and, overall, I'm not happy with them. With these, my eyes frequently get dry and irritated. They have also proved quite difficult to remove on more than one occasion. I would not buy these again.

Once great service, now rubbish.

Used to order these lenses with free P&P and they would always come the next day. Now you have to spend £30+ and products arrive several days later, took 4 days last time. Will look for better distributor next time.

Some of the contact lenses I received…were damaged

Some of the contact lenses I received have been great but for every lease that is ok there at 2 damaged lenses. I have had to throw away at least a third of the lenses I purchased. When I have held the lenses up to the light they seem to have a little mark on them. I am unsure if this is a 1 off and maybe a damaged batch or if this is a regular occurrence. My old supplier that I was very happy with had ceased trading at the moment so I have been looking for a new regular supplier. I am debating whether to give them 1 more go or shop else where

Don't be enticed by free postage!

I opted to buy my lenses here because of the 10% discount and free postage offer. I had to wait 6 working days for my lenses (excluding bank holiday and weekend). On contacting the company they advised the small print said this and that Royal Mail were experiencing delays, however, this print was not obvious and in the end I had to also order elsewhere. Needless to say, the other well-known company delivered in in less than 24 hours using Royal Mail who clearly were not experiencing any delays.

I used to receive these contact lenses…

I used to receive these contact lenses in a small box that was posted through the letterbox. Now they're sent in a huge box - far too big for the contents - with loads of unnecessary packaging. Not sure why they made this change when the smaller box meant I didn't need to be to receive the package and meant less packaging to recycle. (And as I can't reply to the response below - I should add that this change to the packaging happened long before lockdown... )

Posted in a large envelope that wouldn't go through letterbox hence had to make a trip to sorting office. Other supplier manage to package in smaller packaging to eliminate rhos issue. Will not be re ordering as a trip to the sorting office is not feasible.

not Great

Website says 1st glass delivery and advertises that as next day - a week later I was still waiting and these were for lenses that are their own make! I’ll go back to FeelGoodContacts where I get next day delivery and free hair I! Thanks for trying but the first time is definitely going to be the last for me, first impressions last!

Crystal Monthly Lenses

Been buying these for years. Now they are thin and flimsy so much so that they are unusable.They curl up as soon as you look at them. Took 15 minutes to get one lense in.

I got a red and irritated eye

Stingy postage offers

I’ve been ordering contactlenses from contactlenses.co.uk for years. The lenses themselves are always fine but I’m disappointed in the downgrading of the postage provided. It feels very stingy compared to what was on offer previously. First class is at the mercy of the Royal Mail and paying for next day when it was free previously is hard to stomach. Maybe time to try another site.

Lenses great as always. Found them for £16 cheaper on a similar UK website so won't be ordering with yourselves again. Shame as I've used you exclusively for many years.

Expensive and not great

The lenses are more breathable but the quality is horrendous. They never seem to go in your eyes properly and I end up throwing so many pairs away

Not good

Not good. When I wanted to return my lens, because they were not good. I was told that i would have a full refund, but only was refunded half. I would have returned all but one of the lens.

Next day option scam

Nothing wrong with the lenses, my issue was the delivery. I ordered them late Thursday evening and paid extra to have next day delivery, but apparently you can only get next day if ordered after 3:30pm so thought I would get them worse case Saturday morning, really needed my lenses Saturday night, but no lenses arrived, I didn’t receive them till Monday. So be careful with the next day option as they will still charge you even thou they know you won’t get them the next day.

Cheaper elsewhere.

I have been using your website for around 6 - 7 years now and have had little problems in that time, however my last order I specifically paid extra for next day delivery and did not receive my parcel till two days later. In the meantime i needed my lenses so found an alternative website which sells the same lenses for approximately £5 cheaper per box, and they offer next day delivery as standard (as I buy two boxes this is almost a saving of £15 for me). Thank you for your service over the years but as a consumer you expect to get what you pay for and if that service is on offer elsewhere for cheaper, I'd be stupid not to go with them in future.

The packaging has changed again so it didn’t fit through my letter box. I had to go to the depot to collect which is quite inconvenient.

Usually the contact lenses packing are amazing and have been buying from here for the past 6 years. The latest batch that i happened to have bought a years worth had crazy horrible manufacturing packing. You could barely tear each contact lens apart otherwise youd have all the liquid splur out. Fix up asap!

I always order from here

I always order from here, but this time I wasn’t satisfied at all. I’ve ordered with the express postage to have my lenses on the weekend but they arrived on Monday. I don’t know why I paid £5.00for postage?!

Arrived in a big box that wouldn’t fit…

Arrived in a big box that wouldn’t fit thru letterbox. Had to pay to redeliver to nearest post office. These lenses have always fitted thru letter box. The box was enormous!

I have ordered for the first time from…

I have ordered for the first time from this company although the lens arrived pretty swift they are absolutely rubbish - I have brown eyes and have always had blue lens however these lens do not even change your eye colour. Very disappointed in the product not advertised appropriately to the picture shown online. I ordered colourblends blue don't buy if you want your eye colour to change.

Very disappointed .

Very disappointed as two left eye lenses have split after only couple os uses. They seem to be thinner each time I get new ones. I was very pleased at how quickly this was resolved. Thankyou Trust pilot.

Service great but these were different…

Service great but these were different lenses to my usual ones I purchase and only slept in them once and next day had to remove 1 which left me with a red swollen, weeping eye for which I had to get medication. I am now afraid to try again in case I get same reactiin5

I’ve been using this company for quite a few years now and the service is usually very good. However, i’ve noticed a change lately. Deliveries take much longer than usual and some lens are constantly out of stock. I had to go on vacation without my lenses because the delivery took so long.
