pleased with the service

pleased with the service, been with them for more than 5 years, never get free delivery. We all know that u get free delivery over £30. Not so much special for loyal customer. Just saying

First 2 times I placed order I got my…

First 2 times I placed order I got my order in 4-5 business days and quality of the lenses were really good. But last 2 times I ordered I received them really late. I didn't even receive the last order yet it has been 18 days today its still in route. I'm not really pleased with my orders

Wasn’t made clear that if I ordered on a Friday it wouldn’t be next day delivery :-( It should never have let me pay for next day on a Friday. I should of just used Royal Mail & it would of arrived on the Saturday.

Very Poor Cobtact Lenses - They ripped and are dangerous.

I bought a set of Crystal contact lenses - of which the lenses ripped - twice once in my eye. I have been wearing contact lenses for some years and this has never happened to me beforehand and frankly is quite dangerous. Hence I would not recommend these lenses. The service from the store was fine - just very poor quality goods.

I have been using you for a while now…

I have been using you for a while now and usually very reliable. However on this occasion your communication was very lacking. I ordered lenses on 21st March. When the delivery was a week overdue, I called as I had no contact. I was told the lenses were out of stock but another manual order was to be made and I would have the lenses 'within the next few days.'They didn't arrive. I got an E Mail saying they would be delivered approx 23rd April. I could wait or cancel my order. I did get my lenses nearly a month late. I think you should communicate more often and clearly if there is to be a delay.

Not Great really

Terrible. I ordered midday one day and you took ages to let me know there weren't in stock. If there weren't in stock, then you shouldn't have sold them. I had no contact lenses to take on holiday and had to borrow. This has happened a few times.

On the 22nd the manufactures informed us that there could be a delay with sending the items to us. We sent you an email to inform you of the delay. However, in the end, the lenses came in on the 23rd and we sent them that day. Please accept my apologies that these lenses were not in stock when you ordered and that you did not receive them in time for your holiday. When ordering we do say if lenses are in stock or not and also on your confirmation email there is an expected date for despatch given. i have been buying from you for a long while and my package was always put through my letterbox this time the it was delivered whilst I was out so the postman took it to the delivery office which is 5 miles from my house so very inconvenient for me why did this happen ?????

I ordered my lenses 6 days ago for next day delivery one set was delivered yesterday am still waiting for the second set. Usually it takes 2-3 days to the Isle of Man. For every box of lenses I buy at least 2 lens are damaged beforeI can put them in my eye( rough edge, hole or torn )

Where are the Jiffy Bags!!

I have asked numerous times for my order to be delivered in a jiffy bag as the boxes even the new ones do not fit through my letter box and I am fed up of having to go to the sorting office. Despite the address label saying 'please put in jiffy bag' only very occasionally does this happen and it get the boxes. Don't know what else i can do to get the message across !!

I used to think the service was great

I used to think the service was great, always arrived the next day after ordering however now we have to pay for delivery and seems to take longer than a day! Think I will go back to Specsavers

I can confirm your order left our distribution centre on the despatch date we advised you at the time of ordering but perhaps due to you ordering over a weekend, this added a small delay to it being delivered to you. A small delivery charge is now required if a customers order is under the value of £30 which you will find is much lower then many of our online competitors, as is our free delivery of orders £30 and over. I have been buying contact lenses from …

I have been buying contact lenses from this company for many years however I noticed that price has been slowly increasing and in my latest order I've noticed there's also a postage fee which means it's no longer the cheapest supplier and far less cost effective so now I've registered with spec savers who offer far competitive prices and it also includes the solution too so won't be buying from contact lenses.co.uk

The decision for us to introduce a postage fee was also due to this reason and that we were unable to continue to absorb the cost ourselves. Delivery was 2 days late. A charge is now applied when it used to be free for delivery. You no longer have any USP.

I'm probably not the best person to ask …

I'm probably not the best person to ask for a review right now. I re-ordered my usual on the 20th of June, have had several emails explaining there's a problem and they would be sent out on a different date, the date then changed again. The last email I received was on the 11th July saying they were on the way to me. It's now the 20th July and they still have not arrived.

boxes too large for letterbox!

Second time that package is missed

This is the second time that I order my lenses and I have to get back to you to pick them up. The response to my issue was very fast and you've sent me the lenses in a tracked pakcage, but it shouldn't happen in the first time. Bigger boxes??

The box that it was delivered in no longer fits through the letter box, have they gotten bigger? This means I have to go and collect them from the depot which isn't ideal.

Good contact lenses but box too big for letter box

Contact lenses are really good. They are a good price the delivery is very prompt. However, that box is too big for my letter box so my lenses go to the sorting office. I can only collect my lenses at the weekend because I work and cannot get to the sorting office in the week. So getting them delivered to my house is not as convenient as it should be. Any chance you can make the box smaller?? Thanks!

Torn lenses

I have received a few times my lenses with some cuts in them. I used to buy the cheaper ones so I assumed it was part of the cheap price but it has now happened again with the more expensive ones that I am buying. Should contact them but feels like not bothering as they are only contact lenses. It is however a bit annoying.

Dont recommend thesr contacts

Generally the service on-line was good,but it took me a really long time receiving the contacts,on the website it stated the contacts had been dispatched but I received them 6 working days later.Ive recently bought these contacts and was so happy as they were so cheap for daily, but if i be honest,they take forever to put in your eyes.ive been wearing contacts for 4 years and normally it just take me 20 seconds to put them on,they these contacts are very flimzy and take forever to put in,also on my left eye as soon as i put the contact in it kills,my eye goes red,and hurts so much,i dont think i eould order these again no offence

Great service from Contactlenses.co.uk but poor quality lenses from Cooper Vision

The service was great as always but I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the lenses as every one have torn after only one week. I had to resort to my glasses which was very inconvenient as I was on holiday and didn't have prescription sunglasses with me

Ignoring the customer requirements

I contacted several times the customer service to find a solution for their box too big for mailbox. They completely ignore my request and I end up by going to Post Office to collect the parcel. How difficult is to fit two boxes of contact lenses in a box that fits a mailbox... Apparently a rocket science! A part from this, fast delivery! Thanks!

Inaccurate Description -- actually not as cheap as it seems

"It's stated that each order is ""1 box"" of the lens, but it actually is that each order is 1 single lens in its sealed plastic packaging, rather than Freshlook's standard box of a pair of lenses. Now I've ended up with a pair of lenses in different colours. The website's not as affordable as it seems, in fact more expensive."

My contact lenses never arrived, soo . . . .

They never arrived. It was good to get a dispatch email though, so at least I know they were sent. Where are they? Who knows.

Delivery

I ordered 2 sets of lenses specifying the addresses required for delivery the lenses arrived in good time before an overseas trip only trouble was they were sent to one address when two addresses were given. So i have travelled and returned from my trip without any lenses and having to wear glasses with an out of date prescription.

They didnt get on time

I ordered my contact lenses the week before my trip with 3 working days gap for the delivery. They didnt arrived until one week after so it was quite inconvenient, never got them on time!! And I also wasn't informed of how long it would take so I expected something quick like amazon. It wasn't.

Damaged boxes, missing item

The delivery was very fast. However the lenses' cardboars boxes inside were very damaged/pierced and the contact lense solution was supposed to come with a case but didn't.

Delivery did not arrive

I received an e-mail confirmation that my delivery of lenses had been despatched on 8th March, however, by the 14th, they had still not arrived. Usually delivery from this company is extremely prompt, but this was quite disappointing. On contacting contactlenses.co.uk and chasing this up, a delivery was sent out to me which I received on the 16th thankfully. Whilst I have never had any problems in receiving my deliveries in the past from this company, this did cause me an inconvenience in having to wear glasses for 3 days which I don't normally have to do

still haven't got it

Still don't have the product. Lenses have been left with neighbours, it would not be a problem if delivery man would state in the note at which flat he left them. I tried to reach neighbours couple of times, but I can't catch them. Not sure if i will get them ever... Probably won't order again

Mixed Lens Ordering

I use ordinary daily disposables in one eye and progressives in the other. Your site will not allow me to order different types of lenses on the one order and does not seem to allow more than one item in the order basket. Consequently I have to make two separate orders wasting my time and your money on extra delivery costs.

Product fine, delivery awful

I'd never had any problem ordering with contactlenses.co.uk until recently. But the last 2mths delivery has been very slow (11days last month and 7days and counting this month). I'm going to switch to another retailer

Good service bad product

I use this website all the time and have always had great things to say but my last contact lenses the packs had a fault to them every time you peel the foil back there was a plastic film left over them which I had to then pierce and cut open.
