Not as reliable as they used to be

On the last 3 or 4 occasions I have been given a dispatch date, only to be contacted a day before to say there was a hold up and I'd have to wait for the lenses. Very frustrating

Total mess up.

Ordered some lenses on a Friday, was due on holiday the following Friday. Paid confirmed etc was expecting the lenses by Wednesday at the latest. Checked del status on Wednesday, showing as 'not received payment' was absolutely furious as I had paid and also I needed the lenses asap. Called the hotline and they apologied, was a system error and offered to put it on express next day Signed for, it did arrive following morning just in time. However, if I hadn't checked it wouldn't have occurred to anyone to fix this problem and I wasted a lunch break sorting this out when it was not my adult at all!

Too long to ship

I normally order from these guys and normally they have the lenses in stock and they are normally dispatched in a couple of days if not next day. However, this time, they took over 2 weeks to arrive and I had to call and find out what was happening. Not happy as I needed them quickly!

Fresh look contact lens

I really need to find another site to buy prescript lens from. The lens I purchase from here are the fresh look monthly lens, which gets very dry after an hour of putting them on. Most of the time I feel like they are moving out of place when I turn my eyes. I use to buy these lens from £12 here but now the price has increased.

Has been better

I have bought my lenses from contactlenses.co.uk for the past few years and have always been very pleased with the service. However, this time the wrong lenses were sent (+ instead of -) and I didnt realise this until I tried one and couldn't see a thing! The returns process very was very straight forward but I did have to remind them to send out replacements. The original lenses were delivered on the Monday but didn't receive the correct lenses until the Friday. A bit disappointing this time to be honest.

Very poor

My order was out of stock, no contact from the company to advise me of this. It was only when a long time had passed that I phoned the company to complain. I would not use again.

unfortunate experience

"I'm a regular customer of contactlenses.co.uk however on this occasion I was left utterly appalled. The reason being I was sold a ""not for sale"" promotional packet of contact lens solution with a contact lens case."

Grossly overpriced

I was a customer thanks to their reliability and delivery time. However I just ordered the same lenses for £61 instead of £87 I had been paying at contactlenses.co.uk. What a rip off. Will not be buying again.

After exactly 8 days still no contacts paid £19

"I have called twice to inquire about my contacts and been told twice I have too wait the full ""week"" to have something done. I was told that they are not special delivery or even recorded so I had to ""check with my neighbours or post office??"" Or ""call back"". I always check reviews and this site has so many good ones??? I more than likely will get them eventually or have too get a refund BUT point is I have now missed 2 different occasions I needed them for hence ordering them ... Maybe this review will help, I'll add too it as I progress. I will call again tomorrow. Ps. I grabbed mr postie today (I work from home also - the plot thickens) and asked and he was so kind to even say he'd ""look out for it"" after of course I'd explained the situation. Until I can see properly ... ...."

Box is too big to go in the mailbox.

The last two times I ordered I had to go to the post office because the box was too big.

Poor packaging

I was very disappointed when I received my order of grey FreshLook colourblend contact lenses because the lenses did not come in a FreshLook branded box or packaging. Instead it was simply wrapped up in plain paper. Given the cost of the lenses, I think this is not acceptable.

Why do they send out these review spam emails?

"I quite like Contactlenses.co.uk. I hate companies asking you to take time to complete questionnaires or write sentences about ""how did we do?"" You did OK, but it would have been better if you stopped nagging me."

Service great, quality of lenses poor

The lenses came quickly and were posted through my letter box without the need for a signature. However the lenses themselves came as a standard size and do not fit my eyes. They are too big which means they become unconfortable within an hour of wearing them. You should advertise these are a standard size and if you have smaller eyes then you should not select these type of lenses.

Standards have slipped!!!!!

I have always purchased my lenses from yourselves however each time I have made my purchase the standards and value for money has gone down. The least that you can do is supply the lenses holder. The prices have increased yet products decreased.

not happy

the postage was very fast which i loved it came in a few days however i did ntot like the contacts what so ever they wer the wrog size and did not fit my eye, waste of my money!

Deficient service. They sent twice deficient contact lenses

I used to trust Contact Lenses, I was very satisfied with their service the first time I ordered my contact lenses so I recommended to my friends. I order a new package last month and I couldnt use them, I only see blurry. I returned them and order them again hoping they will provide a better service next time. I have them at home, no I need to find the time to go to the post office and wait anohter 12-15 days to get my money back, no counting with the fact that I have no contact lenses at the moment due to my trust to this company.

Terrible customer service.

There are many positives I could mention however they are over shadowed by very poor customer service. I recently ordered some lenses, after using the service before and being impressed I decided to use them again. After receiving my order I emailed the Customer Service team to tell them my concerns that I had received two products (lenses for each eye) however they were from two different manufacturers. I told them I was uncomfortable with this and was expecting to have the same manufacturers products in my both eyes when wearing contact lenses - for consistencies sake. I sent my communication over a week ago and still haven't had any kind of response. Hugely disappointing.

Good service, disappointed with product quality.

The last batch of lenses I received are very difficult to open. The foil covers rip when opening leaving a plastic film over the saline solution making it very difficult to take the lenses out without damaging them.
