Excellent service but lense replacement poor

Excellent service in that they were out of stock so offered the opportunity for a replacement product at the same price. Issue is that I have (unusually) now had 3 of my lenses this week that have been blurry or split. Very unlike contactlenses.Co.uk as the lenses are usually brilliant!

Astronomical price increase

The contact lenses I purchase every six months have become exhorbitantly priced. The increase in price is phenomenal The service is second to none and I can't complain about that at all. £220 for lenses is a gobsmacking increase in price

Great lenses … the only down side was…

Great lenses … the only down side was they took quite a few days to turn up..compared to other companies who send within a day or so of ordering. Next time I’ll order a good week before I need them.

I have been buying my contact lenses…

I have been buying my contact lenses from this website for over 10 years - they have been great as the price was really good when I first bought from them. Until today I decided to have a look around at other places to see how much they were selling it for (1 day acuvue moist) and other places were selling it for less than half the price. So I'm sorry contactlenses.co.uk I can no longer be your customer. Thanks for the great service all these years, I wish I could keep buying from you but it makes no sense why you are charging double what other places are charging.

I have been using this site for years…

I have been using this site for years and always been extremely happy! Last couple times I have ordered the contact lenses are very hard to open and the film does not come away from the plastic case. That’s why the 3 star rating .

Delivery service

Hi , For many months I order via the next day £5 service but lately it doesn’t arrive the next day, this is an inconvenience as usually I’m reliant on them arriving on that day.

Downgraded

Very good at order stage and delivery. Can be relied on for prompt delivery The reason I have down graded my feedback is because of the massive price increase, way beyond an acceptable rise in cost. I have to order for every 2 months now as opposed to 3 months because of this increase. I have found this very poor business

Has disimproved lately

i have used these for many years but lately the service has been very very slow - you need to order at least two weeks before you run out. Whilst the Customer Service is good and they are very apologetic, they do need to improve the turnaround time

Disappointed.

I always used to have my contact lenses really posted really quickly. The last order but one I had to ring up and find out where they were. They hadn’t even been dispatched. I ordered well in advance the last time. They arrived, but they took almost a week to arrive. I’m seriously looking at another company and try if they dispatch quicker. Very disappointed as I have used contact.lenses uk for years.

Why would the system accept a £5 fee for next day delivery, if the order was placed five hours later than the cut off time? After waiting three days for my order I called to be told thar my order had been returned to their depot without notification. They said they would send for next day delivery, took two days more to be delivered. Not great.

Bought my contact lenses for daily use…

Bought my contact lenses for daily use contacts are good but unfortunately some of the packaging isn't great the glue that's used to seal the contacts it quite strong and is being left opening the contacts resulting in me ripping a few of them but as for the company itself I have no issues

Postage is a little slower

Postage is a little slower, previously I would receive the contact lenses within a day or two of ordering, and the packaging use to fit through the letter box, because it's bulky it has been returned to the post office where I have had to collect it which is an added day of not receiving them. Other than that product is good and can go online to reorder as my previous order has been saved.

Generally good product but took 5 days…

Generally good product but took 5 days to arrive even though was £3 for delivery. Also I was offered 15 percent discount for been a blue light card holder but when went to pay it didn't deduct the amount. I normally use another company to supply my lenses and I think I will continue to use them.

Contact lenses are good ,I am reordering it often . Happy with quality. Delivery took very long time , did let me down .If its not my backup supply I would run out and stay frankly blind .

Stock issues caused a problem on the website

Usually, my orders are pretty straightforward and simple. On this occasion, though, things didn't go too well. The lenses I wanted were out of stock so the system offered me a different brand/type but for the same price. I accepted that offer and went through with the order. However, when my confirmation of the order came through, it said they would be despatched in December (I ordered them in August!) I had to phone the company, and I was told that the alternative ones I'd been offered were also out of stock. Eventually, they managed to find yet another brand that was available in my prescription, and told me they're having serious stock issues. Whilst I understand that the stock issues might well be outside their control, the automated system should not have offered me a brand/type that wasn't available for another four months!

Good service, however…

I have been very happy with the service I have recieved from Contactlenses.co .uk, however the last two orders I have placed have either been delayed or have been slower than usual. At the height of the pandemic, my order would arrive within 2-3 days, my last order was almost 7 days and not always financial possible to pay for next day delivery. It’s frustrating and disappointing as service was fantastic beforehand.

Order in advace if possible.

As usual service was first class and i was kept informed of order/delivery situation. On this occassion i ordered a few days before going away for a weekend. The delivery took@ 4 days to arrive where it woukd usually be with me in 48 hours. In every other way the order was up to the usual high standard.

Ordered lenses

Ordered lenses, was told they were out of stock but would be replaced with another brand, which was fine, and that they would be dispatched the same day. Checked on my account the following day, which showed that I would have to wait for the lenses I originally ordered. I was left without contact lenses for a week and would have happily ordered a different brand of lens if communication had been clear at the time of ordering.

Easy to order and speedy delivery

Easy to order and speedy delivery. However please make the box size so it can go thru the letterbox (like other suppliers) so I don't have to collect from post office which is really inconvenient. I asked this before and was told you was going to do this?? X

Always been very reliable and helpful…

Always been very reliable and helpful having used for years. This time still not received delivery nearly three weeks on. I suspect this is a Royal Mail issue rather than the company but seriously irritating and inconvenient. Maybe consider alternative carriers?

I have been using contact lenses.co.uk and there service has always been amazing. However recently they have changed the payment system and sometimes now matter how hard you try it won’t go through. You call them up and they tell you to try a different browser for the same thing to happen - very annoying!

The goods are fine , delivery was slow but I realise the time of year is a problem , as far as tracking my parcel is concerned it’s useless , it’s via the post office and they only give a message if they have tried to deliver ! How can that be tracking a parcel ?

Previously goods were received next day…

Previously goods were received next day if ordered before 3pm but this time it was up to a week before the goods arrived. Disappointing!!

Fragile; dry eyes

Got these instead of the usual crystal dailies as there was no stock but I find they dry my eyes more and the actual lense isn't as easy to apply as the original dailies. It's harder to see the curve of the lense and they are more fragile then the originals. Wouldn't buy again but went for them due to no stock on the others.

Always had good service, however, no speedy delivery, unless paid for, this time.

Always had good service and usually very speedy delivery, but not this time 2 weeks before lenses were delivered. Normally delivery has been within a couple of day, with no extra payment needed for quick delivery.
