Deliveries are reliable but variable

Generally deliveries are reliable. However the time is variable. My last order has not arrived after about 2 weeks. My precise contact lens size is not available. I need to select the nearest size.

It is unfortunate that on occasions your non-stocked toric lens has to be ordered directly from the manufacturer, which can cause a longer delay then we anticipate. Johnson & Johnson sometime ago reduced the power combinations available in your particular lens, therefore we can only offer the alternative. The lenses arrived on time

The lenses arrived on time, however, there are better quality lenses available at slightly cheaper prices. The edges of the lenses irritate my eyes after a couple of hours, unlike those from my previous supplier. Also, the exact strength was not available, so I had to compromise. There is also too much plastic being used for the containers, and the design of the container, which makes them more difficult to handle. The lens doesn't stay in the container when you tip out the solution, either.

Service and delivery quick

Service and delivery quick- especially during these times. Unfortunately the lenses were not suitable as they caused my eyes to sting to the point I could only keep them in for about a minute

Good product but shame about the amount…

Good product but shame about the amount of plastic used in the packaging, for this reason I will be returning to daysoft.

The payment went through on the website but apparently didn’t actually process, however I was not informed until I made contact to find out where my order was. Would have appreciated proactive communication to tell me I needed to complete the order again.

the box got wet and the contacts were squashed

Delivery was fast and the contact was the ones that I wanted. Anyhow the packaging is not good enough, the box got wet and the contacts were squashed.

Packaging

Only marked down because you have changed your packaging from a parcel that used to fit through the letterbox to one which doesn't meaning I then have to go the local Sorting Office to collect it

Service is usually 5 stars but

Service is usually 5 stars but because of issues with my account - somehow I ended up with 2 - I couldn't reorder my previous order & had to start from scratch. This meant I ordered the wrong ones! (small print) although I accept this was my own fault.

Super quick and easy to order and…

Super quick and easy to order and receive the lenses. Packaging is beautiful and easy to open. But the lenses are not the right fit for me. The first one ended behind my upper lid, the second one didn't want to stay put, so I'd always see things blurred. But they didn't feel uncomfortable from a dryness perspective, so that was really positive for me.

Sort out your PACKAGING

The lenses are great. The price is good. The delivery is fast. BUT THE PACKAGING IS APPALLING. A box 8x the size necessary is used. Really disappointing

Quick but packaged poorly

The order was processed and delivered very quickly and accurately. Unfortunately, even though the order consisted of just two small boxes of lenses, it was packed in a box too big to fit through a standard letterbox. This could easily have been sent in a letterbox friendly format and saved a trip to the sorting office!

Postage failure

Great lenses, quick delivery BUT they don’t fit through the letter box so you have to go and collect them at the sorting office. Pointless ordering online if you still have to go and collect them. Shame really.

Fantastic Service as normal, but!

Fantastic Service as normal, I have purchased my lenses for years. But, for the last few months the packaging has changed. Previously they went easily through my letter box, now the box is huge which Is ludicrous and not good for the environment. And because I work and not home when the delivery arrives, I now have to collect from the post office and this is a 2 hour round trip...……….

Super fast delivery times

Super fast delivery times, pretty much if you order in the morning you get your contacts next day. Although I would suggest to stay away from their own brand (cheapest on their web) I've tried the monthly standards and the comfort version and went straight to the bin after a couple of hours.

Warehouse Trouble?

It's taking an awfully long time to ship. Six business days and you're still preparing the item? I've been ordering from you for years now and it's never taken this long. Edit: Thank you for the reply. Perhaps my negative comments should be directed towards the Royal Mail system. Still, it is confusing for customers to have such misleading tracking information. A message on your website (under the Help section) or a note in the Track Package email would help clarify that the tracking service may be incredibly delayed and not to use it for the intended purpose. I hope this feedback was helpful to you.

I can see from your order that it was shipped on the 8th July, which was 2 days after you ordered and well within the despatch date we estimated to you. It appears it is the tracking link you have used which is referring to the status of where the item is within the postal service. So far no update has been made within the system but its not unusual for nothing to appear and then 'delivered' appears. If possible please wait until Friday 19th which will be 10 working days and if no delivery or status has been made on the tracking , please contact our customer support who will look into resolving this for you asap. Contact lenses are fine it’s just getting them that is the problem. Not sure why they can’t be posted as delivery option is only Monday to Friday during the day. Quite annoying for someone who works full time.

Paid extra for next day delivery

Paid extra for next day delivery, turned up several days later. Stick to royal mail and do not pay the extra for dpd to deliver!! Contacts are great though!

Delivery very fast

Delivery very fast. The products package is good too. Only I notice when I put on the lenses in first two second my eyes a bit sort and sting. When I roll my eyeball the lenses didn’t follow it and I’m different position of my eyeballs. It should be follow my eyeballs whenever I roll it. Only these two thing I feel uncomfortable with it. Otherwise are perfect.

I have been a customer for years

I have been a customer for years, but sadly they have recently stopped using letter box sized packaging, so I won’t be using them any more. It’s a real shame because they have always been absolutely brilliant.

Easy ordering but delay on product

Easy ordering and picking up on my previous orders but the product I chose was delayed. Good comms from the company informing me of the delays and fortunately I had some spare lenses but the date went back from what was originally advised which was a bit frustrating.

Not happy with huge box

The speed of service and quality of product is great but my issue is the huge box they are delivered in. With previous contact lenses delivery they have been in slim boxes that fit through letterbox so postman can deliver even if I'm out which is great if you need them urgently, having to troop to post office for them is annoying and an inconvenience.

Too much plastic

The price and quality of the contact lenses you send out are good but the packaging is far too much and you use way too much plastic. There's no need to wrap the contact lense cases in more plastic, and there's no need to send new contact lense cases everytime a regular customer re-orders. People should have the option of getting them rather than it being standard. I have so many now - can I send them back if I havn't used them. Thanks!!

Delivery times let this site down

I have used this site for many years and always found the service to be excellent and products good value. More recently shipment times have increased considerably to the point where I may shop around. I get annoying updates saying at the warehouse, at the fullfilment centre, being labelled etc. I just want my lenses posted without delay thank you.

Dissapointed

The company who deliver contact lenses…

The company who deliver contact lenses from you didn’t do a good job( dpd) I ordered next day delivery And i was waiting for my contact 5 days. First day no one was home so they left calling card.Next, I have changed( on them websit) the day of delivery, after i have changed the adres delivery and the place where to put my parcel if no on at home. etc, and they still were trying to deliver my contacs in the same place, the same way and living calling cards. Finally i had to go to them depot place and pick it up myself the last day before my holiday. I don’t understand it.If this is the way they manage them job i rather change the shop.

Good service and good price

Good service and good price. However, I don't find the lenses particularly comfortable having now trialed for a week. I don't want this to put people off - it is worth a go for these prices and your eyes may tolerate the lenses better than mine.

Too flimsy.

Order was delivered quickly. Lens are very thin and flimsy and difficult to handle. They often come out of the tray folded and are too thin to sit on end of finger to insert. Have thrown away several so far.

Box wouldn't fit through door

Was sent in a larger than normal (or necessary) box. Second time that's happened in the few months. They always used to use tiny boxes to post, but my order wouldn't fit through my letter box and required a Saturday trip to the sorting office to collect. If my next order is in an oversized box I'll be changing my lens store.

It is unfortunate that on the rare occasion we do have to pass on rising costs to us, onto our customers. I can see that we have been able to maintain the cost of your particular lens type for over 3 years and only recently has this small increase been added. As we have done in the past, it is not uncommon for our prices to lower on items. Which we hope we will be able to offer in the near future. Apologies again and thank you for your continued custom. Excellent service as normal

Excellent service as normal. There’s a but though.... Why do you have to use so much packaging and a huge box? They use to be able to go through the letterbox , but the last order the box was bigger than a shoe box! Just thinking about the environment... Thanks again.

Box size needs to be smaller as doesn’t…

Box size needs to be smaller as doesn’t fit through letterbox. Slightly inconvenient as I had to collect from the post office. Spec Savers send them in a longer box that easily fit through the post. Lenses dry out towards the end of the day but would recommend still.

Too many emails confirming the status…

Too many emails confirming the status of the process: order, order picked up, order packed, order shipped, order in delivery, delivery. But more than that, the box with contact lenses was very big so I had to go back to the post office to collect it because couldn’t fit in the mail box and there was a lot of wastage in the packaging - really not needed a big box and so much wrapping.

Change the packaging please

Efficient service however please use boxes that will fit through the letterbox rather than having to go to collect from the post office every time

We have redesigned the Crystal packaging into a flatter box so that it is more letterbox friendly. We are in a transition phase with some of the old boxes still in stock. postage poor

Yes contacts are brilliant but the postage isn’t paid £5 for next day and would have been better to just rely on Royal Mail as they have come quicker with them before

Called several times and nobody answers…

UPDATE: When they answered the call, team was helpful. ***Called several times and nobody answers the phone. I placed an order the 11th October and I have not idea where are my contact lenses.
