Good product and delivered on time

Good product and delivered on time. The only issue was that the delivery person you used put the box under my doormat when I was at work rather than leaving it at the royal mail depot close by where someone could have stolen it. My doormat is one of those thick ones so you can see there is a parcel there.

reliable but expensive

Always reliable but starting to feel after speaking to other contact lens users I am being over charged so looking at ordering elsewhere

Sent to wrong delivery address

Sent to wrong delivery address. Seems they save the last delivery address used and then when new order went through this was not obvious. Asked if delivery address was same as billing and put yes, yet sent to different address.

Easy ordering

Ordering was really easy but the contacts took rather a long time to arrive which was very different to my husbands order which took a couple of days. I ordered a set of three pairs and one set for the left eye had a split in it already so I had to throw it away, thankfully the rest of the order was fine and they are absolutely fine. Due to the wait for delivery and the quality of one set I am only giving three stars but from previous experience of ordering it’s the first issue we’ve had so I would recommend.

The actual lenses are fine and the cost…

The actual lenses are fine and the cost is okay, however the packaging does not go through the letter box as the box was too thick. I work nights and to be woken by the postman when I am asleep is defeating the object of having them posted.

Parasitic 3rd Parties

Using parasites like Trustpilot & PayPal are huge mistakes which will only be apparent in the years to come. You should trust in your own inhouse skills! Remember where you heard it first.

They keep having stock issues

They keep having stock issues with my chosen brand of lenses. I order but sometimes takes almost 2 weeks for the order to be delivered and I end up buying lesser rated lenses with another provider as I have run out. A shame

Slower delivery than usual

I’ve been ordering lenses for a number of years & been very happy. However there appears to have been some changes in the logistics & the order took a lot longer to be delivered.

Not very satisfied

Good day. This time the lenses took more time to be dispatched and, when sent by airmail, the mention of P.O. Box has been omitted from the delivery address, which delayed the delivery in Dubai and led me to pay an additional 15 AED (about 3 GBP) at the reception as a fee for using a public P.O. Box. Reference of the P.O. Box is compulsory in UAE as per Emirates Post regulations in order to avoid a delay in delivery or, worse, a return to the sender as it happened with me in 2016. I had also to mention that the packaging this time was not as good as my last order 3 months ago.

Check order address

I order for two different addresses but not clear which address website has chosen so I’m still waiting for my recent order as it went to wrong address. I should have checked but think website should ask what address you want to send it to. This is second time this has happened. My fault I know but in these days of one click orders I didn’t check

Disappointed

Funny you should contact me now as I am on my way to some far away post office to pick up my package... I usually order from you because of the speed and ease of delivery thanks to the post box shaped boxes. Obviously didn’t happen this time and I am now rushing around town to collect my parcel. Very disappointed. If this is going to be the new delivery standard then I will not be ordering from your website again as the convenience factor was the main reason I chose your company.

Unusually long order waiting period.

Sadly, warehouse difficulties meant that my total order was unfulfilled for two and a half weeks, and still has to arrive at date. This is admittedly a rare occurrence as past orders appeared within two days. However it could generate problems if the lenses were needed to meet deadlines, holidays etc.

I ordered my contacts on the 5th of…

I ordered my contacts on the 5th of march and they were not even shipped until the 14th of march, also there is no tracking number and no option to sign for the package online which means I always have to go to the post office and pick then up. It would be much easier if I did not have to sign for them or if I had a tracking number

Fast delivery but contacts are quite soft..hard to put in

Contacts came really fast-next day but after using visionexpress contacts for years I noticed that these are much softer , so harder to put in. Destroyed 2 pairs before managed to put them in .Contacts kept sticking to my finger and did not want to get it. Maybe I just need more practise ...will see..

Usually the company is fantastic in…

Usually the company is fantastic in delivering my lenses well within a 48 hour window however I had a recent experience where the shipping date was a month after I had ordered it. Luckily I checked this and informed the company who rectified it within 1 week however it was an inconvenience so hopefully won't happen again

Disappointed with the change of packaging

I've used your company previously without issue and have always been very happy with service and product. However, the reason for only giving 3 stars this time is down to the change in packaging. Whereas, the box previously used was long and thin so could be posted through the letter box this new box can't. the result was that the postman had to leave a non delivery note forcing me to travel to my local distribution centre to collect. Surely the previous packaging was designed to fit letterboxes so why the change?

Delivery isn't as quick....

Delivery isn't as quick.... When the postage used to be free - one of the main reasons I went to this company - my lenses always arrived within 2 days, maximum. Now that we get charged for delivery, I can be waiting up to 5 days for them to arrive....it's a change, but it ain't for the better!

The lenses were delivered to a company…

The lenses were delivered to a company address that I haven't worked at for four years and I have ordered lenses since for successful delivery to my home address. The company had since moved offices and if it wasn't for the fortuitous fact that a former colleague, who happened to live near me, happened to glance at the parcel when it was forwarded to the company's new address they would have not have arrived!

Please use a smaller box if possible in future. I ordered 4 packs of lenses and they normally come in a box which fits my post box. This time, the box was bigger, could not be posted through my door, so I ended up having to collect the lenses from the post office depot - not good.

Quite expensive compared to other sites …

Quite expensive compared to other sites on the market and now they have got rid of there free P&P for lower cost items. As I wanted to change my contact lenses to Acuvue Oasys I found 5 other stores £10 cheaper. I used to order from them with no hesitation but now I find myself checking against other sites to see if I can get it cheaper and I usually can. There delivery times are still very quick though.

Thumbs down on the P&P fee

I've been using this site for years to buy my contact lenses and have always been happy with the service, esp the free next day delivery. However, I was really disappointed to see a postage fee with my last transaction.

Price increase and now charge for delivery

I have used contactlenses.co.uk for around 18 months now and find them great however was a little disappointed when I went to order this month and realised they had increased their prices and now charge for delivery too without so much as an email to advise of the upcoming changes. Unfortunately this will make me compare elsewhere which is a shame!

Have ordered from contactlenses.co.uk for a long time now, a while ago recommended a friend using my email she received a discount but I received none. Also disappointed with the removal of free delivery

the contact lenses do the job

the contact lenses do the job - but the last 2 months the post man cannot no longer pop then through the letter box. due to size of box...so need to go to local office to pick them up .... also this month I was charged £3 postage which I had not been charged before - so it is not worth it now.

I've been using this site since 2005 …

I've been using this site since 2005 and love the free delivery. Was very disappointed to see the delivery charge. I didn't have time to shop around to see if I can get cheaper elsewhere but I will before next purchase. Such a shame as I've only ever bought from you during last 12 years?

Box was too thick for my door

The product was good as always, and dispatched quickly, but the packaging was too thick to make it through the door and had to go pick it up myself at Royal Mail depot. Other online contact lenses companies pack them in slimmer boxes to avoid this issue.

Always a quick delivery which is great

Always a quick delivery which is great. Only problem this time was that the postman didn't manage to get the box through the letter box. Not sure if they have got bigger as its never been a problem before. This time I had to drive 4 miles and pay for parking to pick them up at the post office.

Hi I have never had this problem before …

Hi I have never had this problem before but this time one of my lens was broken from one side it's slightly so not properly round I wore it but was uncomfortable. delivery was brilliant as usual received in a couple of days of ordering

Since I changed delivery address a year …

Since I changed delivery address a year ago, there have been problems saving my current address. It initially reverted completely to my former address and it was only because I telephoned immediately, I managed to stop the lenses being delivered to my old address. Since then, it still reverts to the former post code, which in my opinion, delays delivery by at least a couple of days, which has been my experience this week.
