Been a customer for years

Been a customer for years, never had a issue. but recently changed they packaging so no long they fit through my post box which then results in a trip to the sorting office every time i order which is a hassle.

i have been using you for years your service is excellent, although you do over package things, and then the postman doesn't leave them .. Also I have recommended you to friends and yet never received any discounts or promotions

I prefer to have lenses delivered to my …home

I prefer to have lenses delivered to my home or alternatively to the local post office, the last order was left at a neighbour, not ideal for me.

good contacts have worn them before …

good contacts have worn them before however the Crystal Hydro Daily is probably more comfortable. Initially i wanted to order those but they were out of stock for 2-3 weeks and i had to order this as an emergency.

Great apart from the choice of carrier

Everything is fine except the bulky packaging which won't go through a letterbox so you have to be in to receive it or waste an hour driving and queueing at the Royal Mail Non-service centre. Any other carriers will leave a package in the shed or with a neighbour but not Royal Mail.

Poor service

Lenses

Lenses took a few days to arrive, I believe this was because the postcode to my previous address had been used/reverted to.

Fast service but packaging needs improvement

Lenses are dispatched, and arrive very quickly. The only issue is that they have recently changed the box that they are sent in which now won't fit through our letterbox which means we get a card from the Royal Mail and need to pick it up... a real pain!

lenses box bigger

hi there I have been getting my lenses off your company for quite a while now and I order them because the box you use is postable through a letterbox and now I am finding you have changed your box and I have to go pick it up from the main post office which is a bus ride for me to get too and is a bit of an inconvenience for me... I am thinking of using another company because of this and that is very much a disappointment... I hope you can change your boxes back as I really don't want to find another company to use

Would be great if package fit through lettetbox

Speedy delivery. Ordered many times before and always good service. However, last 2 orders I've made had the hassle of collecting from post office as one single pack of contact lenses will no longer fit through letterbox!? Why change the packaging? Other than that brilliant

Prices have gone up

Prices have gone up which is disappointing. Also I would usually get next day delivery. This is also not the case.

Box now too big for postbox!!

Usually impeccable but let down when I made a different order

Usually I have no problems ordering - the prices have been creeping up but the delivery is very reliable. Wasn't overly impressed when I ordered the Air Optix - lenses were so much thicker than previous Air Optix i'd ordered and stung my eyes - I could not wear them. I think they are either faulty or perhaps non-genuine. Could have done serious damage to my eyes

Prescription too strong

I orderd a pair of coloured contact lenses with my new prescription. The lenses were too strong but the strenghth is meant to be my actual prescription. Save hassles go to actual opticians for prescribed coloured lenses. Colour was nice as expected and delivery quick.

Very comfortable

Great service and they are very comfortable, however the first lenses I put in my right eye did not improve my vision, must of been faulty. More information on the product would be helpful when it is delivered.

Contact lenses purchased

Ordered 3 months wort of monthly contacts which happy with. However no container to put them in was provided so not happy. Normally order daily so not happy!!!!

Lens Never arrived

Next day great but packaging too big

Orders do come the next day when ordered in time. However, packaging is too big so doesn't fit through my letter box, which isn't small, so always have to pick it up from the post office, making next day delivery pointless

PayPal Delay

I have used Contactlenses.co.uk many times. I've ordered online and I've ordered over the telephone. I have always been very pleased. When I made this order I did it online but chose to use PayPal instead of my debit card because PayPal is considered safer. I had run out of lenses and wanted them for the next day. It was not made clear to me when I was ordering that by using PayPal I was delaying my order. When I realised what the problem was I telephoned the company, cancelled my order and made another one on the telephone using my debit card. As dual the customer service on the telephone was excellent. I got my lenses one day late but I still consider that an efficient serves even with the little hitch.

Good quick delivery shame the box won't fit through letterbox

Delivery Problems

The box doesn't fit through my door and everytime I miss my delivery because I am at work, I have a 6 mile round trip to collect my lenses from the Royal Mail holding centre. This is the only reason I am considering changing my supplier

Package problem

Tried this company for a change as the company I use take too long for delivery. Delivery & price excellent, sadly parcel too big for letter box. Only order 1 month supply. Had to travel to my local PO to collect which was pain. Won't re-order and will need to put up with the long wait from the other company.

PAYMENT ISSUE

I have never had a problem and have always been impressed by the prompt deliveries but on my on recent purchase there was a payment issue and I was told that something was wrong with my card or there was some transaction error. I re entered my details as instructed and received items next day as usual BUT I had been billed twice. I called customer services and this was confirmed but as yet (a full week later) I have not had my refund as promised.

Quick delivery but damaged box and hard to find my type of lense

Very quick delivery. However when ordering a toric lense it's hard to find my prescription exactly as only 1 of the 6-7 brands they offer has my exact requirements.

Annoyed about delay

I'm happy with the product but I was annoyed to receive an email on the date my contacts were scheduled to be dispatched from the warehouse to say there was going to be a delay. The dispatch date was already over a week after my order date, I can't imagine what would take so long. Other than that, everything was fine.

Checkout errors

I placed my order and the items arrived in Jersey within 2 days which is great. However, every time I log back into my account and get to the Checkout, it says I have an Invalid country code even though I had already ordered once before using the same address. In the end I gave up and went to another company. I had previously reported this as a fault but clearly it is not fixed.

Disappointing delivery

I have been a customer of your website for several years now and have never had an issue with the quality of the contact lenses that have been sent to me. However, I ordered my last batch of lenses on a Tuesday and still had not received them by Saturday, the day I was going on holiday. I had to go away with my glasses, which I do not like to wear. I feel that a four day delivery time for such an important item is rather long. Are they not posted first class? Many other items online when ordered in the morning will be with the recipient the following day. I feel disappointed that this has happened as I feel that the quality and prices of the lenses are great but the waiting time too slow.

Your order was placed on the 7th April and despatched the same day by Royal Mail First Class. The majority of orders do arrive next day, however this is not a guaranteed service and occasionally Royal Mail can take longer to deliver. It does seem that on this occasion your order was held up in the Royal Mail system and as our free delivery service is not tracked we can not provide you with a reason as to why this happened. Prices have increased massively over the last few years

I've used contactlenses.co.uk since 2004, but over the last couple of years prices have increased enormously. My lenses - 1 Day Acuvue TruEye - now cost £60 to reorder a pair of boxes. For the last 2 years I've switched to Vision Direct who charge around £43 for identical lenses. A shame, because contactlenses.co.uk always gave excellent fast service, but they now are losing the edge on value for money.

We offer the best prices we can, however manufactures are continuing to raise their prices to us, especially J&J who make your lenses. Not so Freshlook

It wasn't a bad experience, and yes the Freshlook one-day lenses are very comfortable, you forget that they're on. However, I ordered the coloured ones, purely for cosmetic purposes, and felt compelled to buy two sets of lenses, one for the right eye and one for the left, when really one set would have been enough as each pack comes with about ten lenses. Also, I ordered Freshlook 'Blue', however the 'blue' is a lot darker than it used to be. I used to buy blue and green coloured contacts several years ago in pharmacies and decided to start wearing them again for themed parties.

Good delivery times but expensive

Been using this site for many years. The delivery times are very good but I suspect we're paying for it. There are other sites with cheaper lenses out there. I'll stick with Contactlenses.co.uk

Fast Postage, Not good Colours

"Fast dispatch and delivery of their items. Can't fault the quality of the regular daily disposal contact lenses. Definitely wouldn't recommend the coloured contact lenses as they are nothing like the pictures provided. Customer service wasn't very helpful and asked me to send them back for them to be ""reviewed"" felt like I was being treated like a lying customer. Just wanted a refund, wasn't too much to ask for as the colour I was sent wasn't the colour I had ordered. Other than this, I recommend the daily disposals but really don't recommend the coloured contact lenses."

Our policy states that we are unable to replace or refund lenses unless they are faulty. As you informed us that they were faulty we asked you to return them to us and sent you details of how to do this, using our free returns process. However we did not receive any lenses back, so were unable to refund. Colour Contact lenses

I love the look of the coloured contact lenses my only problem was they were very hard to handle and they curled up the minute I took them from the solution which I feel caused me confusion as to whether my lenses were outside in. My eyes very very gritty when I was wearing them but this has happened before when I have used daily contacts lenses so I would think that maybe a problem that I have. The lenses are very soft. I was not sure from the site or the packaging if the lenses were monthly lenses or dailies. They felt like dailies tho.very fine. I would buy these lenses again for special occasions they make your eyes look beautiful and big. I would ensure carrying a comfort eye drops suitable for lenses just in case of irritation ...thank you [Link] for you reply I have since retried the lenses and had a better experience after having used my eye drops ... Possibly I had dry eye anyway I really like them and will definatley be buying more .... Your information you posted me was great and I now relise they are not dailies and can be worn over a 2 month period but about 30 times use. Great Value ! Thanks .... Quite fancy green eyes :-)

slow to deliver

I was surprised when I realised (having ordered the lenses) how long it would take for them to be dispatched. Surely this could be faster?

reliable, fast but please work on the packaging

Contact lenses

Bought contact lenses but was shocked when only 30 arrived which equated to two weeks of supply, quite expensive

I can see how you would be unhappy if you were expecting a months supply and only received 2 weeks. We offer a free returns service so if the box is unopened we would be happy to refund upon return. contact lens

Great delivery received very next day, not to sure about lenses though, I normally get mine from specsavers but have had problems with receiving them on time thought i would try these online , unfortunately the lens seem to dry up quickly.
