1 Day Acuvue Moist is a great choice if you have any eye issue, whether you suffer dry eyes syndrome or just get the occasional dry eyes after long screen time sessions or late night partying, the addition of Lacreon really helps your eyes stay moist all day.
1-Day Acuvue Moist is a soft daily disposable contact lens by Johnson and Johnson that uses new technology, uniquely combining the proven 1 Day Acuvue material of Etafilcon A and adds the moisture-rich ingredient Lacreon. Via a proprietary process, Johnson and Johnson embed this water retaining ingredient, very similar to your own tears, into the lens. This creates a long-lasting smooth cushion throughout the lens, which keeps moisture in and dryness at bay, making 1 Day Acuvue Moist a great choice for dry eyes. they help the eyes feel fresh and comfortable all day long.
Each lens comes in buffered saline with povidone.
1 Day Acuvue Moist is loved by Optometrist and contact lens wearers, it is often the first lens of choice due to its capability of being accepted by a wide range of eyes. This contact lens comes in 2 fittings, 8.5 and 9.0, and has a large prescription range from +6.00 to -12.00. The Lacreon technology is also ideal for dry eye sufferers, but it doesn't end there, 1 Day Acuvue Moist also contains UVA and UVB blockers and a 123 inside-out indicator making them a great choice for first time wearers.

There is no doubt that 1 Day Acuvue Moist is a great lens, often the first lens of choice for prescribing Optometrist, the main issue for customers with this lens is the price! Unless you have particularly dry or sensitive eyes then there are other lenses available that do the job just as well,
We have introduced a new daily lens for dry eyes and even more comfort - Crystal Aqua Daily, at only £9.50/30 lenses. A great replacement for 1 Day Acuvue Moist - but 2/3 cheaper. We have had 1000's of customers successfully change between 1 Day Acuvue Moist and Crystal Aqua Daily.

I am very short sighted. I wear my lenses for the vast majority of the day, as wearing glasses isn't really feasible. These lenses are excellent, and comfortable from 7am to 11pm. My optician recommends them also. I have been wearing them for a few years now and would say they are the upper end of the contact lens market. I'd recommend them.
I tried these 'moist'ones as my eyes tend to be rather dry when wearing lenses. Yes, they are a bit delicate, but i personally have not had much problem with them.
Tip : once on your finger - hold them up to the light and look out for the '123' on the rim of the lense - this shows it's the right way round as these do easily flip.
I usually wear them when going out or during the summer when wearing sunglasses, but have wore them all day & have been ok.
Ordered Friday morning, received the following morning. Now that is what I call service. As for Acuvue Moist? Well, I've been using them since I can't remember. Yes, occasionally a bit fiddly but I work in an office environment so my eyes often dry out. These fit the bill perfectly.
Recently, Acuvue stopped making my usual contact lenses so I had to find an alternative. I decided to go with the same company and try out these lenses, despite the less than favourable reviews.
I found them to be as good as, if not better, than my previous type of lenses. I suffer from dry eyes, and no contact lenses don't not irritate them a bit but they were quite comfortable with these lenses.
They are thinner, but I find this means they are much easier to insert into my eye.
I can wear these for 8 hours or more without my eyes getting too irritable.
Overall, I'm pleased with them and am sticking with them.
When I wear glasses, I never suffer from dry eyes. A number of ophthalmologists have said to me they have no objections to me wearing contact lenses. However, once I have contacts in, after 1-2 hours my eyes feel dry and itchy; I can really feel them in my eyes. I've tried different non-moist monthlies & dailies, but the result was all the same. Acuvue Moist are the only ones that are really different. I don't feel them in my eyes for several hours and can thus wear them for much longer than any other contacts. Will definitely keep using them.
These lenses are great - can`t feel them on the eye, they don`t make my eyes red or itchy, I can wear them from early morning to late at night (although not really supposed to!) without problems, they`re just great. I have dry eyes, so notice it really quickly if the lenses are not up to scratch, but these are just perfect for me.
They are quite thin in comparison to some other dailies I`ve tried, but it just means taking a little more care when taking them out of the packet so that they don`t rip.
I`d recommend these to anyone, and in particular those suffering from dry eyes towards the end of the day.
Upgraded to the `Moist` variant a year or two ago and found they gave me better comfort later in the day. I`m -5/5.5 and have astigmatism so I wear them for shorter periods (holidays, sports, dusty DIY work with goggles, etc) rather than full time but find them very easy to use and effective.
I love Acuvue Moist. Im not usually a fan of dailies cause Im a pain for overwearing my contacts but these really have lasting power.
My visions not great in them but thats my own fault cause I should really wear the ones for astigmatism but if you can get away with it....I find these much more comfortable. Barely notice they`re there!
I do find them more difficult to put in than other lenses however, as they tend to flatten out on your fingertip quite easily, instead of going in your eye!
I switched a while ago to the Moist version because I found with the normal version they would stick to my eyeball by the evening and need loosening, plus my eyes would get a little red and dry. So the Moist version allows me to wear longer into the evening. I recommend them despite the higher price over normal versions.
