Visionace has been formulated using the latest scientific research into nutrition and eye health. During a placebo-controlled, cross-over study by the Department of Vision Science at Glasgow Caledonian University, Visionace "was found to maintain normal and conjunctival health".

Just one tablet of Visionace Original contains vitamins and minerals including Vitamins A, B2 and Zinc which contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. Vitamin A, Riboflavin (vitamin B2) and Zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal vision, and vitamin B6, Niacin (vitamin B3) and Vitamin C to aid the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Professor Sudi Patel, who led the trial at the Department of Vision Science at Glasgow Caledonian University explained, "Results suggest that the formula may help maintain healthy eyes and normal eye moisture, particularly in contact lens wearers and VDU users.
